The radiator was inadequate, so the room stayed cold. the owners eventually agreed to turn the heating on, but the radiator barely warmed. i had a dreadful night's sleep. I should have asked for a refund.

i found such a warm welcome from caroline. she did everything she could to. the room was cosy and so clean. i had breakfast and it was perfect with fresh ingredients and made fresh.
i found only one bath and hand towel for two. there was one bottle of water. the milk in room was only enough for one drink each. meal accompaniments came in a very small portion.

The room was clean and quiet.
The portion sizes for accompaniments were too small. There was only one bath towel and one hand towel provided for two people, a real inconvenience. We also only received one small bottle of water and not enough milk for more than one drink each.

i had a family meal in the restaurant. two ordered the steak pie. it was a proper steak pie with tender chunks of steak in a shortcrust pastry case. one ordered the gnocchi, another had the cassoulet and i had the linguine. all were beautifully cooked and presented.

cold bathroomnon functional heater
the bathroom was quite cold. the towel heater did not function. i also found it inconvenient to walk outside to get from my bedroom to the restaurant. this arrangement is far from ideal during colder months.
